Two NIH Institutes — the National Institute of Diabetes & Digestive & Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) — sponsor the consortium. The Clinical Trials Statistical & Data Management Center's (CTSDMC) purpose is to coordinate the statistical and data management functions for the CIT Consortium.
